Dennis Osorio, MBA, PMP has extensive experience in information technology and project management. Dennis has held a variety of roles in different organizations since 2003.

Beginning in 2003, Dennis served in the U.S. Army as a Mobile Communications Unit Supervisor, Operations Supervisor, and Network Switch Operator/Maintainer/Supervisor. In 2007, they became the IT Manager at Emerald Queen Casino, where they were responsible for leading technical operations and managing a 20-person team.

From 2015 to 2019, Dennis worked at the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services as a Deputy IT Chief and IT Operations Manager. In this role, they were responsible for overseeing major cross-divisional IT efforts and managing the internal project management staff.

Most recently, Dennis has been the IT Director at Thurston County since 2019. In this role, they oversee approximately 40 employees and an annual operating budget of $9.5 million.

Currently, Dennis is the Chief Information Officer at Fungi Perfecti LLC, where they are responsible for ensuring all IT functions are running smoothly for a growing company. Dennis also leads and guides the work of technical staff and plans a variety of projects.

Dennis Osorio, MBA, PMP has a comprehensive educational background. Dennis earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Management Information Systems, General from Washington State University in 2009-2010, followed by an Associate of Arts (A.A.) in Business Administration and Management, General from Pierce College at Fort Steilacoom in 2006-2008. Dennis then went on to earn a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) in Management Information Systems, General from the University of Washington in 2008-2009. In 2012-2014, they earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Technology and Innovation Management from Pacific Lutheran University. In 2015-2016, they completed the LeaderPath for IT Managers from IPMA. In 2019, they earned a High-Performance Leadership Certificate from Cornell University, as well as an Executive Leadership Certificate from the same institution.

In addition to their educational background, Dennis Osorio, MBA, PMP has obtained several certifications. These include a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (ICGB) from the University of Washington in December 2019; a Change Management Cert from Prosci in October 2018; a Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from the Scrum Alliance in May 2016; a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in January 2015; an ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in November 2013; a Comp TIA A+ IT Technician from CompTIA in September 2009; a GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) from GIAC Certifications in April 2022; and a Certified HIPAA Professional from HIPAA Academy in February 2020.
