Karnik Jain

Karnik Jain has extensive work experience in various software engineering roles. Karnik is currently employed at Fungible, Inc. as a Platform Software Engineer Senior Staff since April 2022. Prior to this role, they worked as a Platform Software Engineer Staff at the same company from December 2018 to April 2022.

Before joining Fungible, Inc., Karnik worked at Juniper Networks from June 2013 to November 2018 as a Platform Software Developer (SE-III). Karnik was involved in various projects, including hardware bring-up, chassis management daemon bring-up, and system health monitoring. Karnik also developed user space Linux drivers for different system modules and a CPLD access driver for the Azurite system.

Karnik also gained experience at Alcatel-Lucent, where they worked as a Senior Platform Software Developer from January 2012 to June 2013. During this time, they developed drivers for PCIe endpoint access and ported software for different board platforms. Karnik also enhanced the startup application for Linux boards.

Additionally, Karnik worked at Aricent as a Senior Protocol Software Engineer from October 2010 to December 2011. Karnik also had short stints at eInfochips (An Arrow Company) as an Embedded Engineer from May 2010 to October 2010, and from June 2008 to June 2009. Karnik initially started as an Embedded Engineer Trainee at eInfochips from January 2008 to May 2008.
