Arne Schumacher

Arne Schumacher has extensive experience in the insurance and risk management sectors, currently serving as Geschäftsführer at Th. Funk & Sohn GmbH since September 2005, where responsibilities include portfolio management, digital business operations, and business processes. Prior to this role, Arne led the establishment of a new division at Funk Firmen und Privat, which focused on both corporate and private clients, and also contributed to the development of a specialized art insurance field. Arne previously held the position of Geschäftsführer at VfU Versicherungsmakler für Umweltprojekte GmbH & Co. KG, specializing in renewable energy. Arne's career began at Gothaer, where significant leadership roles included managing technical insurance and risk consulting. Arne holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in safety engineering from Bergische Universität Wuppertal.
