Cobus Van Gheluwe

Cobus Van Gheluwe is an experienced professional in event management and communication, currently serving as a Guest Lecturer in Event Management at Arteveldehogeschool since April 2024. Cobus has been the Chief Enthusiasm Officer at Funkey since March 2017, specializing in corporate teambuilding events. Prior to this, Cobus held the position of Event Manager at cube events from January 2011 to December 2017, where tailored company events were organized. From February 2007 to February 2017, Cobus worked at VDAB, initially as an Expert in Communication, then as an Expert in Interregional Mobility, overseeing collaboration with mixed teams, and as a Consultant specializing in interregional employment relations. Cobus also provided support via the VDAB Service Line for job seekers and employers. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Social Work from Ghent University, a Postgraduate degree in Business Event Management from Arteveldehogeschool, a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from HOGENT, and a recent program at Vlerick Business School.
