David Tarnosky

David Tarnosky has a diverse range of work experience in operations and management roles. David started their career at Amazon in 2000, where they worked as a Senior Operations Manager, overseeing outbound operations at a large distribution facility. David was knowledgeable in all aspects of the facility's operations, including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.

In 2005, Tarnosky transitioned to a role as the Senior Manager of Amazon Enterprise Operations, where they were responsible for leading fulfillment and customer service operations for the enterprise division. David created scalable processes to accommodate anticipated client growth, developed staffing models for peak and non-peak periods, and implemented Six Sigma defect reduction projects that resulted in significant savings for enterprise clients.

Leaving Amazon in 2011, Tarnosky joined Lowes Supply Chain as a Regional Assistant General Manager, where they directed operations and engineering functions for a large distribution center.

In 2014, Tarnosky moved to Walmart eCommerce as a General Manager, overseeing the operations, finances, and expansion of a 1.2 million square foot eCommerce facility in the Northeast Market.

In 2018, Tarnosky joined SYNCREON as a General Manager, leading a start-up 3PL facility that serviced a single Fortune 10 client. David had direct ownership over all operational, financial, customer service, inventory control, and engineering efforts at the facility, which included advanced automation systems.

Tarnosky's most recent role was with Funko, where they served as the Senior Director of Fulfillment Operations. David had multiple-site responsibility for the company's US distribution and fulfillment network and was instrumental in the design and implementation of a significant expansion for e-commerce fulfillment. David also focused on diversifying the operations management staff to better reflect the community and associates, and they created a Women in Leadership Council to drive the growth of women in distribution.

Overall, Tarnosky has demonstrated expertise in managing multiple aspects of distribution and fulfillment operations, implementing process improvements, and driving efficiency and growth within various companies.

David Tarnosky has pursued a degree in Business Management from the University of Houston. Additionally, they have also enrolled in The University of Texas at El Paso to further their studies in Business Management.
