Senior Visualization Artist (renderer) at Funko

Jessica Alves has a diverse work experience in the field of art and design. Jessica began their career as a DigiPen Outbreak member at Team Outbreak, where they worked on extended missions for the Humans Vs. Zombies game. From there, they joined Muffin Express as a Concept Artist and 2D/3D Asset Artist, contributing to the development of visual assets. Alves then had a freelance role as an Environment Concept Artist at Revelation Interactive. Jessica continued their journey as a Pixel Artist at 1x1 LLC, creating pixel art for advertising campaigns and Kickstarter tiers. Alves also served as a Teacher Assistant at the DigiPen Institute of Technology, supporting students in their learning process.

In 2014, Alves worked as a Pixel Asset Artist at Vagabond Dog, creating pixel art assets. Jessica later joined Gameloft as a Concept Artist Intern, collaborating with the Spiderman Unlimited team to develop concepts for stages and enemies. At the same time, they engaged in early concept planning for buildings in a cancelled tycoon game.

In 2015, Alves took on a position as a 3D Environment Artist Intern at Motiga, Inc., where they contributed to creating environments. Jessica then moved on to BLUE WIZARD DIGITAL INC as a 3D Artist, showcasing their skills in 3D artistry.

Currently, Alves holds a role as a Senior Visualization Artist (Renderer) at Funko, where they utilize their expertise in visualization to bring products to life. Prior to this, they served as an Associate 3D Visualization Artist at the same company.

Jessica Alves attended the DigiPen Institute of Technology from 2011 to 2015, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts and Animation degree. The field of study during this period is unspecified.
