Funky Rainbow is an independent children’s bookshop and literacy partner for those who are committed to building strong reading cultures.

Based in Bengaluru, we work with parents, schools, educators, and libraries to help children discover the joy of reading beyond textbooks.

Our approach combines curated books, engaging literary experiences, and educator support to create sustainable reading ecosystems in schools.

We partner with schools across age groups—from early years through middle school—to design programs that encourage curiosity, imagination, and lifelong reading habits.

Our services include:

• A curated collection of the best in contemporary Indian children's literature at our stores in Bangalore and Mysore
• Organising school literature festivals
• Conducting curated book fairs and institutional book sales
• Organising author and illustrator visits
• Library consulting and book curation
• Teacher workshops on storytelling and reading engagement
• Student reading clubs and book programs

Funky Rainbow works closely with parents, teachers, librarians, and school leaders to ensure that books become an active and joyful part of life.

We believe that every child deserves the chance to fall in love with reading.
