Benita Palmer

Benita Palmer has a long and varied work experience. Benita began their career in 2008 as a Civil Engineer Trainee at the Alabama Department of Transportation. In 2010, they joined the Peace Corps as a Literacy/ICT Advisor. In 2012, they became the Program Manager at Habitat for Humanity, Hale County, Inc. In 2013, they moved to Volkert, Inc., where they served as a Project Engineer. In 2021, they joined Funnel Leasing as an Associate Product Manager and Product Analyst. Later that same year, they moved to Co.Lab | You Belong in Tech as a Product Manager.

Benita Palmer received their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from The University of Alabama in 2009. Benita also obtained an Engineer Intern certification.
