Tao Wu (Edge)

Tao (Edge) Wu has a strong work experience in the technology industry. Tao (Edge) started their career in 2007 at NEC Labs China, where they worked as a Senior Engineer and Team Lead until 2011. Tao (Edge) then joined Alibaba.com as a Senior Engineer for a year. In 2012, they moved to Newegg.com, where they served as a Big Data Manager & Architect, responsible for building up a big data team in the US, China, and Taiwan. Tao (Edge) stayed at Newegg.com until 2015. From 2016 to 2019, Tao worked at Shanghai Kingnet Technology Co., Ltd, first as the Vice President of Technology and later as the CTO of the Blockchain BU. In 2019, they joined Yoozoo as the CTO, a role they held until 2020. Currently, Tao is the Co-CTO at FunPlus, starting from November 2020. Overall, they have significant experience in leadership roles and expertise in big data and technology.

Tao (Edge) Wu completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Computer Science and Technology at Beijing Normal University from 2000 to 2004. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Educational/Instructional Technology at the same university, which they attained between 2004 and 2007.
