Mari Chamoun

Mari Chamoun is the current Chief Operating Officer (COO), Head of Accounts, and Partner at Funsize. Mari has extensive experience in business operations, management, finance, and project management.

Mari Chamoun began their career in 2007 as a Supervisor for the Policy Owner Services International Department at CICA Life Insurance Company of America. In this role, they led a team of 10 international representatives and developed process guides and training classes on department processes. Mari also improved internal software and manual processes, reducing turnaround time by 79%.

In 2011, Mari Chamoun transitioned to Affiniscape as a Project Manager. In this role, they were responsible for managing projects and ensuring that they were completed on time and within budget.

In 2013, Mari Chamoun joined Handsome. as the Director of Business Operations. In this role, they were responsible for managing HR, legal, assets, and AP/AR finances for the company. Mari also worked with outsource firms to ensure all payroll, taxes, insurance, and benefits were set and recorded properly. This included everything from researching and negotiating health insurance and catered lunch services, to drafting policies for maternity/paternity leave and employee termination and severance processes.

In 2016, Mari Chamoun joined Funsize as the COO, Head of Accounts, and Partner. In this role, they are responsible for the overall operation of the company. This includes managing finances, developing strategies, overseeing implementation, and ensuring that all departments are working together efficiently.

Mari Chamoun completed their schooling at Colegio La Milagrosa and earned their certification from SHRM in HR Generalist.
