Robert Landers has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Robert began their career in 2007 as a SGT in the US Army, where they served until 2011. Following their military service, they worked as a Windows Phone Engineer at Virtual Apexx from January 2011 to October 2011.

Robert then joined Cyber Sprocket Labs as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2011 to August 2012. During their time there, they revived a WordPress plugin called Store Locator, which became a successful venture and is now owned by Charleston Software Associates.

In 2012, they became a Software Engineer (CTO) at AbundaTrade.com and remained there until March 2014. Robert then moved on to MassageBook, where they were a Software Massager from March 2014 to January 2015, working on important projects involving medical data and insurance claims.

Afterward, they worked as a WordPress Engineer at BoomTown - Real Estate Platform from January 2015 to December 2016, building and maintaining the front end for a significant portion of realtors in the US.

In March 2017, Robert joined Automattic as a Code Wrangler, where they spent nearly six years. Robert worked on various projects, including GDPR-related initiatives, data automation, A/B testing framework design, legacy email framework maintenance, and revenue-generating marketing strategies. Robert played a crucial role in providing the marketing team with the necessary tools for success.

Most recently, they were a Dev, Owner, Magician at Wicked Monkey Software from October 2022 and is currently a Senior Software Engineer at Funxtion starting from February 2023.

Robert Landers began their education in 2005 at Capital University, where they studied Computer Science. Robert then pursued their studies at East Carolina University in 2007, focusing on Business.
