Aape Pohjavirta

Aape Pohjavirta is an accomplished entrepreneur and educator with extensive experience in mobile learning and business development. As the Founder of Funzi since February 2014, Aape has spearheaded growth strategies and the introduction of innovative services, including Funzi YES for educational institutions. Aape's role as Chief Evangelist established Funzi as a recognized mobile learning service. Aape is involved in several advisory and leadership positions, including the Private Sector Advisory Group for Digital for Development Hub and a member of the 'Education in Developing Countries' Task Force. Previous commitments include co-founding and chairing Gotland GPe Circuit, coaching at Startup Sauna, and serving on the boards of various organizations focused on technology and entrepreneurship. Aape's educational background includes studies at Erasmus University Rotterdam and various institutions in Finland.
