Dawn Russell

Dawn Russell, MSARP, serves as the Downtown Development Manager for the Town of Fuquay-Varina since January 2019 and has also been the Executive Director of the Fuquay-Varina Downtown Association since February 2017. With extensive experience in the primary and secondary education sector, Dawn held the position of Director of School Advancement at Wake Christian Academy from 2009 to February 2017 and previously worked as the Preschool Director at Sunrise UMC Preschool from 2003 to 2010. Dawn's expertise includes fundraising, event management, and volunteer management, supported by a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and education from Lumberton High School.
