Sherry Earley

Sherry Earley is an experienced engineer currently serving as an Engineer for the Town of Fuquay-Varina since November 2023. Prior to this role, Sherry held the position of City Engineer for the City of Sanford (NC) Municipal Government from January 2023 to January 2024, and served as the Director of Engineering for the City of Newport News from March 2021 to January 2023. Sherry's professional background includes significant roles such as Senior Project Manager at Clark Nexsen and Assistant Director of Public Works/City Engineer for the City of Suffolk, Virginia. Additionally, Sherry has experience as the Engineering Manager for Public Utilities in Suffolk and Director of Engineering and Public Utilities for the City of Poquoson, Virginia, along with earlier work as a Civil Engineer for the City of Virginia Beach. Sherry holds degrees in Civil Engineering from Old Dominion University and Physics from Longwood University.
