Samer Al Moubayed

Samer Al Moubayed is the CEO and Co-Founder of Furhat Robotics. Samer was previously a Research Scientist at Walt Disney Imagineering, where they worked on interactive robots and conversation systems for branded characters in the Parks & Resorts. Prior to that, they were a Research Scientist at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, where they worked on embodied multimodal spoken interaction. Samer also founded and led Spacetoon, a speech-enabled, realtime broadcasting company for multiplayer online games. Samer has also served as an advisor for Langofone and My New Home.

Samer Al Moubayed has a PhD in Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology, a Masters in Global Management from Stockholm University, and a Masters in Computer Science. Artificial Intelligence & Speech and Language from KU Leuven.
