Sarah Roberts

Sarah Roberts is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as Group Treasurer and Head of Financial Strategy at Furness Building Society since February 2019. Prior experience includes serving as a Trustee for BARROW AFC COMMUNITY SPORTS C.I.C. and holding the position of Finance Manager at BAE Systems, where responsibilities included Ministry of Defence liaison and management reporting for the Astute Submarine project. Earlier in their career, Sarah worked as a Management Accountant for James Fisher and Sons plc, focusing on management accounts and budgeting for various projects. Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Modern and Medieval Languages from the University of Cambridge, completed in 2006, and was educated at St. Bees School.
