Justin Barnes has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Justin began their career in 2000 as a Member Relations at Maple Dale Country Club. In 2001, they worked as a Real Estate Settlement Facilitator at Thomas Jackson Esquire in Dover, De. In 2003, Justin joined Transformative Retail Group as a Vice President. That same year, they also started working at FurnitureLand as a Vice President and Retail Sales Associate. In 2004, they took on the role of Warehouse Manager at FurnitureLand. Additionally, Justin is currently a Board Member at Salisbury Christian School starting from 2020. In 2017, they became the President of SLAM Institute, a sales learning and management company specializing in retail home furnishings. Their term at SLAM Institute is set to end in 2023.

Justin Barnes earned a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Wesley College, Delaware, where they studied from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Pocomoke High School from 1995 to 1999. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from Wilmington University, graduating in 2010.
