Caroline McEvoy has a diverse work experience spanning various education and research roles. Caroline started their career as a Solicitor/Trainee Solicitor at TP Robinson Solicitors from 2007 to 2008. Caroline then transitioned into academia, working as an Adjunct Lecturer in Government and Politics of the European Union at the University of Limerick in 2012, followed by a role as an Adjunct Lecturer in EU Integration at Dublin City University.

Caroline pursued their PhD in Political Science at Trinity College Dublin from 2008 to 2013, focusing on political representation in the European Union. During this time, they also worked as a Teaching Fellow in Political Science, an Adjunct Lecturer, and later as the Head Teaching Assistant for International Relations.

Following their PhD, Caroline joined Trinity College Dublin as an Adjunct Assistant Professor in Political Science and was also involved in research projects, including the Political Ambition of Women in Ireland Project, funded by the Irish Research Council.

In 2015, Caroline joined University College Dublin as a Government of Ireland Post-Doctoral Research Fellow and later served as a Lecturer. In 2008-2009, Caroline returned to Trinity College Dublin to pursue a Post-graduate Diploma in Statistics. Simultaneously, they enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) program in Political Science at Trinity College Dublin, which they completed in 2008-2013. This demonstrates their dedication to expanding their knowledge and research abilities in the field of Political Science.

Caroline's education journey also involved acquiring legal expertise abroad. In 2010, they earned the qualification of a Qualified Solicitor from the Law Society of England and Wales, further enhancing their legal skills in the field of Law.

More recently, Caroline pursued a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Creative Writing at Dublin City University from 2020 to 2022. This educational endeavor showcases their interest in cultivating their abilities as a writer and exploring the world of literature.

Caroline's commitment to professional development is evident through their additional certification as a Blended Learning Enthusiast, obtained from Pearson in February 2020. This certification indicates their interest in incorporating blended learning methodologies into their teaching or instructional practices.
