Bethan Stiles

Bethan Stiles currently serves as the Assistant Headteacher for Inclusion at Furze Platt Senior School since January 2023. Previously, Bethan worked at John Hampden Grammar School from September 2018 to January 2023, holding several roles including SENDCo, Lead for Community, Diversity and Inclusion, and Professional Lead for Pastoral Support and Inclusion. In this capacity, responsibilities included school ethos oversight, special educational needs provision, and mental health leadership. Prior to this, Bethan was Head of Year at St. Bernard's Catholic High School from September 2013 to August 2018, and also served as Head of Physics and Teacher of Physics at Furze Platt Senior School from July 2010 to August 2013. Academic qualifications include a NASENCO Qualification in Special Educational Needs from Oxford Brookes University and a PCGE in Science (Physics) from the University of Oxford, in addition to a BSc in Physics from the University of Warwick.
