Karla Marjorie Segovia

Karla Marjorie Segovia has extensive experience in project development, economic growth, and policy management. Currently serving as the Executive Director at FUSAL since November 2019, Karla previously held the position of Project Development Specialist at USAID, focusing on the design of economic growth and education initiatives. Prior to that, Karla worked as a Trade, Investment and Gender Specialist at Chemonics International, where efforts were made to integrate Salvadoran SMEs into value chains. Additional roles include Regional Director for Educational Testing Service franchisee and consulting for the Inter-American Development Bank and Americas Society/Council of the Americas. Karla holds an MBA from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and a Bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics from ESEN, complemented by specialized training in public policy and regional development.
