Jiajing Qi

Jiajing Qi is a skilled lighting designer and drafter with extensive experience in the entertainment industry. Currently serving as a Freelance Drafter at TAIT and a Freelance Draftsperson at VTProDesign, Jiajing specializes in 3D design and building assets for experiential events. Additional roles include Lighting Programmer and Robot Cam Operator at Fuse Technical Group, demonstrating expertise in virtual production and LED Volume. With a background as a Lighting Programmer and Draftsperson at 7Lights, Jiajing has contributed to high-profile projects like the Google NYC facility. Previous positions also include Associate Designer and Project Manager at Studio RRD, Lighting Designer at Alliance Theatre, and various roles at The Lighting Design Group, honing skills in both live events and broadcasts. Jiajing holds a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from The University of Texas at Austin and a Bachelor of Arts in Lighting Art from Zhejiang University of Media and Communications.
