Emily Miller started their work experience in 2015 as a School Social Worker at the University of Chicago Charter School - Woodlawn Campus. In 2017, they joined Fusion Academy as a Director of Student Development, a role they held until 2020. Emily then progressed to become a Regional Director of Operations at Fusion Academy until 2022, followed by being promoted to Director of School Operations until 2023. Currently, Emily is working as the Senior Director of Operations at Fusion Academy.
Emily Miller completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Comparative Human Development from the University of Chicago in 2014. Emily then pursued their Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Social Work from the same university, graduating in 2015.

Over 20 years ago Fusion Academy started as a single, truly unique private school in Solana Beach, CA. In 2009, Fusion Education Group (FEG) helped replicate the school with a Los Angeles campus and has continued to do so across the country.
