Natalie Flynn has work experience in education, specifically in the fields of art and Mandarin teaching. From 2017 onwards, they worked at Fusion Academy as a Lead Teacher specializing in art and Mandarin. In this role, they successfully implemented accommodations for academically enhancing students and developed the curriculum for visual arts and Mandarin. Natalie also managed students' data and problem-solved academic and behavioral issues. Prior to Fusion Academy, they worked as a Private Mandarin Tutor from 2014 to 2022. In this role, they influenced students' understanding of Chinese culture and supported their Mandarin abilities. Natalie also communicated with parents and students to set goals and developed lesson plans based on individual student needs. Natalie Flynn's earliest work experience was as an Artist-in-Residence at the Yew Chung Education Foundation from 2013 to 2014. Here, they nurtured students' passion for visual arts, coordinated events for students of all ages, and collaborated with campus leaders.
Natalie Flynn holds a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Educational, Instructional, and Curriculum Supervision from Liberty University, which was obtained between 2020 and 2023. Natalie also has a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Illustration from Savannah College of Art and Design, completed from 2008 to 2012. In addition to their degrees, Natalie Flynn has obtained certifications in Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED from American First Responder in June 2023, as well as an International Baccalaureate Bilingual Diploma from the International Baccalaureate in 2008.
