Catherine Ortiz

Catherine Ortiz has a diverse work experience in various industries. Catherine started their career as a Sales Associate at GUESS?, Inc. in 2013 and later joined Michael Kors as a Sales Associate in 2015. Catherine consistently achieved sales goals in both roles.

In 2017, Catherine interned at Sergio Rossi, where they worked closely with the Director of Public Relations & Senior Account Executive. Catherine'sresponsibilities included managing and tracking samples, coordinating logistics for shipments, and maintaining accurate documentation.

Catherine then interned at Milk Makeup in 2018, where they supported the Public Relations Manager in planning and executing industry events. Catherine also maintained databases for editor, freelance, and makeup artist lists and tracked the effectiveness of PR samples.

In 2019, Catherine gained further experience as a Public Relations and Marketing Intern at Chantecaille Beauté. Catherine assisted in sample sendouts, participated in planning press events, and performed various administrative duties in a fast-paced environment.

From 2019 to 2021, Catherine worked as a Claims Administrator at Barasch & McGarry. Catherine collaborated with lawyers to assist in the execution of clients' claims, acted as a liaison between internal teams and clients, and reviewed and submitted cases for compensation.

Most recently, Catherine joined HCT Group in 2021 as an Office Coordinator. Catherine fulfilled administrative tasks and played a vital role in ensuring smooth office operations.

In 2023, Catherine will start working as a Marketing Coordinator at Clean Beauty Collective Inc.

Catherine Ortiz began their education at Queensborough Community College of The City University of New York (CUNY) in 2013 and completed their studies there in 2016. During this time, they focused on Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies. Subsequently, they attended Queens College from 2016 to 2019, majoring in Fashion/Apparel Design.
