James Burns

James Burns has extensive work experience in operations and production planning within the beauty industry. James most recently served as the Director of Operations and Production Planning at Clean Beauty Collective Inc. starting in November 2022. Before that, James held the position of Vice President of Planning/Operations at Hampton Beauty Associates from February 2018 to October 2022. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Operations/Planning at Interparfums, Inc. from January 2006 to September 2017. James also has experience as a Planning Manager at Gryphon Development/Victoria's Secret Beauty from November 1998 to December 2005, where they achieved significant accomplishments such as reducing inventory levels and delivering successful product launches. Earlier in their career, James worked as a Production Planner at Shiseido America, Inc. for nine years, where they were responsible for reducing inventory and overseeing the planning and sourcing of various cosmetic product lines.

James Burns has a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from William Paterson University of New Jersey. Additionally, they hold a Professional Certification in Materials Management from Bloomfield College, obtained in 1996.
