Matthew Kohagen is an experienced psychotherapist currently providing in-person and teletherapy services at Headway, Fusion Care Group, and Path since 2021. Prior to their focus on psychotherapy, Matthew accumulated extensive experience in human resources roles, including positions as a Human Resources Consultant at Calleguas Consultants, the Port of Hueneme, and Harbor Freight Tools. Matthew also served as a Human Resources Generalist at The Arc of Ventura County and Passages Addiction Treatment Centers, and held the position of Director of Human Resources at Aurora Vista del Mar Hospital for over 15 years. Matthew earned a Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from California State University - East Bay between 1991 and 1993.
