David Kula

David Kula serves as the Vice President of Business Development at Fusion Connect since 2023. Previously, Kula worked as a Strategic Sales Executive at Backbase, focusing on digital banking platform sales. At Sungard Availability Services, Kula held several leadership roles, including Vice President of North American New Logo & Channel Sales and Regional Vice President for the Northeast Region, overseeing teams responsible for new logo acquisition and channel programs. Kula spent nearly two decades at Microsoft in various roles, culminating as Senior Director of Enterprise Sales for the Financial Services Vertical, managing significant revenue streams. Earlier career experience includes a Software Implementation Manager position at Pegasystems and a period of global travel and exploration. Kula holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and completed the Microsoft Business Management Program at Indiana University's Kelley School of Business.
