Lawrence Hamm

Lawrence Hamm is the Senior Director of Business Development at Events DC. Lawrence has over 10 years of experience working in the sports and events industry, with a focus on marketing and sales. Hamm has a proven track record of generating new business and implementing strategies to attract new events. Lawrence has worked with Destination DC, The George Washington University, and Under Armour. In their most recent role, they were responsible for promoting group and individual travel to sports and special events in the Washington, DC area. Hamm is a skilled negotiator and has successfully secured group room blocks, family, fans, and friends travel packages with hotels, attractions, events, and festivals. Lawrence is a passionate advocate for Washington, DC as a premier sporting and special events destination.

Lawrence Hamm holds a Bachelor of Science from Towson University in Communication Studies/Advertising/English and is certified from the National Association of Sports Commissions in CSEE, Certified Sports Event Executive 2017.
