Jason West has a diverse work experience in the IT industry. Jason started their career at Vonage in 2007 as an Advanced Operations Technician, where they operated and maintained hardware and software, performed configuration and diagnostics on routers, gateways, and switches, and worked with various operating systems. In 2014, they joined Fusion Connect, first as a NOC Technician and later as a Network Operations Engineer. In these roles, Jason worked remotely in a single-threaded environment, monitoring and maintaining large-scale backhaul networks. Jason executed configuration, diagnostic, and troubleshooting commands on routers, servers, and switches, utilizing a variety of technologies including UNIX, Cisco, Juniper, Redback, Edgemarc, Acme, Freeswitch, and Microsoft Server.
Jason West attended Devry University in New Jersey from 2000 to 2003, where they earned an Associate's degree in Applied Computer Science with a focus on Information Technology.
