Jim van Eerden

Jim Van Eerden has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jim is currently working as the Director and SVP of Corporate Development at Fusion Cyber since May 2023. Prior to this, Jim was a Co-founder and Managing Partner at 5th Element Group, PBC, a global impact consultancy, from June 2018. Jim also co-founded and served as the Managing Director at Helixx Partners, LLC, a merchant banking and private equity firm focused on social impact investing. Jim was the Executive Director at Purple Crow Foundation from August 2022 to March 2023. In addition, they co-founded Mission Inc., a company co-founded with Serena Williams, Drew Brees, Dwayne Wade, and other elite athletes, where they served as the Executive Director from February 2008 to December 2019. Jim also co-founded Sevenly, a global leader in cause art apparel and decor, and served as its Co-founder from June 2011 to July 2018. Lastly, they co-founded GoodXChange, a digital platform connecting consumers with leading brands to fund causes, where they were the Chief Development Officer from January 2014 to June 2018. Overall, Jim Van Eerden has extensive experience in corporate development, impact consultancy, merchant banking, and social entrepreneurship.

Jim Van Eerden's education history is as follows:

From 1982 to 1985, Jim attended Grove City College, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business & Economics.

Following this, from 1988 to 1995, Jim pursued further education at Trinity International University, obtaining a Master of Arts degree with a focus on Philosophy and Epistemology.

In 2001, Jim enrolled in Wake Forest University, where they completed an Executive MBA degree in Marketing Strategy in the year 2002.

During the same year, Jim also attended the University of Oxford, where they obtained a certificate in International Business.

Lastly, from 2006 to 2023, Jim embarked on a doctoral program at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, specializing in Global Education.
