Julie Metcalf, Ph.D. has extensive work experience in the field of scientific research. Julie started their professional career as an NSERC Summer Undergraduate Researcher at Trent University in 2005. In 2007, they joined the University of Toronto as a PHD Candidate and completed their doctoral studies in November 2013.

Afterward, Julie worked as a Postdoctoral Fellow at The Scripps Research Institute from January to August 2014. Julie then joined the University Health Network as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre from October 2014 to October 2016.
