James Raeford

James Raeford has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering and information management. James started their career as a Senior Systems Analyst at American Management Systems, Inc. in 1998. From there, they moved on to Systems Plus, Inc. in 1999, where they worked as a Senior Information Management Technologist. During their time at Systems Plus, Inc., James introduced an automated software upgrade approach and also performed cost-benefit analysis and evaluation of facial recognition productions.

In 2001, James joined Primescape Solutions, Inc. as a Software Engineer Principal. Here, they designed and developed a web application for managing traveling speaker evaluation information. James utilized various technologies such as ASP.NET MVC 4, HTML5, CSS, jQuery, Entity Framework, and LINQ to create an application that could easily transition to a mobile-enabled platform. James worked at Primescape Solutions, Inc. until 2014.

In 2014, James took up a role as a Senior Consultant at Sevatec, Inc., where they continued to work on web applications previously developed by Primescape Solutions, Inc. James transitioned these applications to the replacement developer.

Currently, James is employed at Fusion Technology LLC since 2014 as a Software Engineer. Here, they are involved in the development of a personnel management dashboard that consolidates information from multiple data sources. The dashboard allows easy access to real-time, authoritative, enterprise data with visualizations that can be combined to explore and filter data. James utilizes Visual Studio 2012 and .NET for this project.

James Raeford obtained a B.S. in Computer Information Systems from Auburn University at Montgomery, where they studied from 1982 to 1986. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications, including the ServiceNow Certified Systems Administrator from ServiceNow in July 2020, the Certified IT Architect - Foundation Level (CITA-F) from Iasa Global in September 2011, the Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD) from Microsoft in November 2008, the AWS Certified Developer – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in March 2021, and the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) from Scrum Alliance in October 2013.
