Jorge Pinho de Sousa

Jorge Pinho de Sousa is an experienced sports analyst and coach, currently serving as a Video Analyst for the A Team at FC Porto since July 2018 and also coaching the Under-16 handball team. In addition, Jorge works as a Video Analyst for the A National Team of the Federação de Andebol de Portugal since September 2023 and previously held a similar role with the Federação Caboverdiana de Andebol from January 2020 to December 2021. Jorge’s coaching background includes roles at Instituto Universitário da Maia - ISMAI, where responsibilities encompassed coaching Bambis, Infantis, and serving as an Assistant Coach for the A Team, along with a position as a Physical Activity Sports Teacher with the Câmara Municipal de Gondomar from November 2016 to March 2018. Jorge is currently pursuing a PhD in Sports Science at Universidade da Maia, having previously obtained a Master’s in Physical Education and Sports with a specialization in Handball and a Bachelor's degree in Physical Education and Sports from the same institution.
