Vangelis Sakelliou

Vangelis Sakelliou has a wealth of experience in the financial industry. Vangelis began their career in 2001 as an Analyst Marketing Assistant at Morgan Stanley Dean Witter. In 2002, they joined Bloomberg as a Sales Manager, offering customers innovative alternatives to their existing long-dated status quo. From 2007 to 2012, they were a Senior Business Development Manager at Eurobank EFG, where they were a member of the sales management board and reported directly to the GM. Vangelis then moved to IntercontinentalExchange | SuperDerivatives as a Regional Sales Manager, offering OTC derivatives solutions. In 2015, they joined SunGard as a Business Development professional, consulting and offering insights to clients within their pricing and OTC derivatives operations. In 2019, they were appointed as Director, Heading Business Development and Marketing for EMEA at FinIQ Consulting Pvt.Ltd. Currently, they are the Director, Leading Business Development and Marketing Growth in EMEA at Futora.

Vangelis Sakelliou obtained a BA in Economics from the University of Piraeus between 1991 and 1995. Vangelis then went on to pursue an MSc in Finance and Investment from Brunel University London between 2000 and 2001. Vangelis has also obtained several certifications, including a Mastering Digital Marketing: SEM, SEO, Social Media and Beyond from the London Business School in September 2020, as well as WSET Level 1, Level 2 and Level 3 in wines and spirits from the WSET - Wine & Spirit Education Trust.
