Doug Johnson

Doug Johnson is the current CTO at Futrli. Doug previously served as the Chief Technology Officer at SaleCycle from April 2015 to January 2019. In this role, they were responsible for building a team dedicated to realtime and batch data stream processing and big data analysis. Prior to their time at SaleCycle, Doug was the Head of Architecture for Sage One, Sage's global small business cloud offering. Doug was responsible for the global technical strategy for Sage One, which is now live in 9 countries built from one platform, in multiple languages. Doug began their career as a Principal Technical Consultant at Curam Software (now IBM), where they played a critical role in all Cúram Implementations. In this role, they assisted in the definition of the architecture to be used in large public sector Cúram implementations and ensured the correct use of the Cúram Framework in those implementations.

Doug Johnson completed an MA Hons in Japanese from The University of Edinburgh, followed by an MA Hons in Japanese & Philosophy from International Christian University.
