Vincent Truffault has substantial work experience in the field of agronomy and research. Vincent began their career as a PhD student at Inra - Institut national de la recherche agronomique in 2012 and completed their studies in 2015. During this time, they also served as a Visiting PhD Student at The University of Edinburgh for a brief period in 2014.
In 2015, Vincent joined CTIFL as a Research Manager for the Greenhouse Crops Research Unit. Vincent held this position for four years until 2019.
Vincent's most recent role is as the Director of Agronomy at Futura Gaïa, starting in September 2019. At Futura Gaïa, a company that specializes in automated vertical agriculture using living soil, they are responsible for managing the R&D Agronomy Team.
Vincent Truffault obtained their Licence in Biologie et Physiologie Végétale from Université de Rennes I, where they studied from 2006 to 2009. Vincent then pursued their education at Avignon Université, where they earned a Master's degree in Agrosciences - gestion de la qualité des productions végétales from 2010 to 2012.
