Leigh L.

Leigh L. has a varied work experience spanning multiple industries. Most recently, they served as the Director of Marketing and Events at Future City Now, starting in May 2022.

Before that, Leigh worked as the Executive Director of Operations at For Others Collective from March 2021 to May 2022. In this role, they were responsible for all operational functions, including managing a name-change and re-brand, developing internal operational systems, collaborating with partners on content strategies, managing budgets and contracts, and overseeing staff and interns.

Prior to their role at For Others Collective, Leigh worked as a Creative Producer for Reclaim Living Company as an independent contractor from January 2018 to March 2021. They specialized in creative production for brands, including live event ideation and production, video producing, brand messaging, and set decorating.

Leigh also gained experience in the non-profit sector as a Creative Producer and Project Manager at BraveLove from May 2014 to March 2021. Their work at BraveLove focused on changing the perception of adoption through media communication.

In addition to their non-profit and creative production experience, Leigh worked as a Home Stylist at West Elm from February 2019 to July 2020, where they helped clients with interior design projects.

Leigh has also worked as an Event Representative at Compassion International from March 2014 to June 2019, promoting a child-advocacy ministry.

Earlier in their career, they held positions such as Visual Installation Artist at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. - West Elm and Sales Associate at Anthropologie.

Before entering the workforce, Leigh gained event coordination experience as an Event Coordinator at Student Life from May 2008 to August 2011. In this role, they organized and supervised various conferences across the US.

Leigh L. pursued their education by attending the University of North Florida from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained an Associate's degree. During their time there, they focused on the fields of Business, Health, and Communication. Following this, they enrolled at Palm Beach Atlantic University from 2006 to 2008. It was during this period that they earned their Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Communication and a minor in Exercise Science.
