Marcus Atkins

Marcus Atkins has extensive work experience in the fitness and education industries. Marcus is currently the Head of Sales at Future Fit Training Ltd since August 2021. Prior to this, they held the role of Commercial Director at Be-a education Limited from March 2020 to August 2021. Marcus also worked as a Commercial Manager at Active Nation from March 2018 to March 2020. Marcus has also held various roles at The Training Room, including Head of Customer Acquisition, National Sales Manager, and Training Manager from July 2011 to December 2017. Marcus has also worked as a Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning Coach at their own business, Marcus Atkins - Personal Trainer, from May 2008 to August 2012. Marcus has previous experience as a Sales Manager at Fitness First UK from July 2009 to July 2011 and as a Fitness Manager and Personal Trainer/Group Exercise Coordinator at David Lloyd Leisure from September 2001 to May 2008. Marcus Atkins attended Winton Boys in Bournemouth from 1991 to 1996, where they studied Health and Physical Education/Fitness. After completing their school education, Marcus obtained additional certifications. In 2001, they received a Level 3 Personal Trainer Diploma from Premier Global. Later, in June 2003, they became a NASM Certified Personal Trainer in Optimum Performance Training, obtaining this certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
