Velmurugan S has over 20 years of work experience. Velmurugan started their career as an Audit Staff at Prasad & Srinath in December 2000 and worked there until January 2006. In 2006, they joined Regency International Clothing Pvt Ltd as a Accounts Exe (consultant) and worked until 2007. From 2007 onwards, they have been working at Future Focus infotech Pvt Ltd as Vice President - Finance & Accounts.

Velmurugan S completed a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Commerce from Madurai Kamaraj University from 1994 to 1997. Following that, from 1997 to 2008, Velmurugan S pursued a FCA degree in Accounts from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India.
