Bruce Cumming

Bruce Cumming's work experience starts in 1996 as an Analyst/Programmer at AXA Investment Managers. Bruce later became a Senior Database Developer at the same company. In 2000, they joined Morgan Stanley Dean Witter as a Development Team Leader, leading a team of developers for an online exchange project. Bruce then worked at ABN Amro as a Delivery Team Leader, where they focused on developing a global research database.

Starting in 2003, Cumming worked at Utelco Systems as a Project Delivery Manager, overseeing multiple data warehouse initiatives in the Telco and Transport industries. In 2006, they joined Oakton as an Information Management Consultant, contributing to the enhancement of a large-scale data warehouse in the Automotive industry.

From 2007 to 2011, Cumming worked at Vanguard Investments Australia as an Enterprise Data Architect/Project Manager, focusing on project delivery for the front office investment team. Bruce then moved to Colonial First State, where they held multiple roles, including Senior Technical Project Manager, Senior Manager Business Engagement, and Executive Manager Wrap Platform. Bruce was responsible for delivering various projects and transitions for the FirstWrap platform.

In 2018, Cumming joined Mercer as a Portfolio Delivery Leader, overseeing the delivery of portfolios. Most recently, in 2022, they joined Future Fund as the Director of Project Services.

Bruce Cumming has a Grad Dip in Applied Finance & Investment from Securities Institute, which they obtained from 1997 to 2001. Prior to that, they attended Monash University from 1993 to 1995, where they studied Business Systems. In addition to their formal education, Bruce has also obtained certifications such as Certified ScrumMaster from the Scrum Alliance in December 2015. Bruce also has certifications in PRINCE2 Foundation and TOGAF IT Architect, but the institutions and specific dates for these certifications are not provided.
