Raghu Pillai has extensive experience in the retail industry, having held various leadership positions in renowned companies. Raghu was the CEO and Member of the Executive Board at Future Group starting in 2010. Prior to that, they served as the Wholetime Director and later as the President and Chief Executive at Reliance Retail from 2006 onwards. Additionally, they worked as an Independent Director at Timex Watches, starting in 2005. Earlier in their career, Pillai held the role of President & Chief Executive: Retail at RPG Retail from 1995 to 2005. Before that, they were the Vice President at Gramaphone Company of India(HMV) from 1992 to 1995, and the General Manager Operations at International Computers Indian Manufacture Ltd, a division of ICL, UK from 1988 to 1991.
Raghu Pillai attended Delhi University from 1974 to 1978. Raghu later pursued further education at Harvard Business School and completed an Advanced Management Program (AMP) in Business in 1998.
