Suryansh Mehta

Suryansh Mehta is a co-founder of Future Impact Group, established in August 2023, where five academic research groups were set up under the Oxford Future Impact Group. Previously, Suryansh held roles such as Visiting Fellow at the Centre for the Governance of AI, focusing on AI risk management strategies, and Writer, Editor, and Manager at the Center for AI Safety, overseeing project management and editing a comprehensive undergraduate textbook. Additional experience includes research at Carnegie Mellon University on AI cooperation in non-zero-sum games, research fellow at Open Philanthropy prioritizing impactful causes, and involvement in various organizations including the Oxford University Baseball and Softball Club as treasurer. Suryansh holds an MPhil in Economics and a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
