Amit Sawant has an extensive work experience spanning over several industries. Amit currently serves as the VP of Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Fintech Strategy at Future Lifestyle Fashions Limited. Prior to this, they held the position of Head of Marketing, Corporate Communications, and Strategy at The Phoenix Mills Ltd, where they oversaw the development and management of the High Street Phoenix retail center. Amit also worked as the National Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Talwalkars Better Value Fitness Limited, and as the General Manager and Group Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at Delta Corp Ltd, the largest gaming company in India. Amit has also held various positions at Dentsu, The Times of India, Syntel, Inc, Stream International, and HSBC.
Amit Sawant has a diverse education history. Amit started their educational journey in 1997 at the University of Mumbai, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry. Amit simultaneously attended Wilson College Chowpatty Mumbai 400 007, where they also studied Chemistry and obtained a second Bachelor of Science degree.
In 1999, Amit enrolled at Niit Imperia and completed a Diploma in Computer Science and Programming. This allowed him to expand their knowledge in the field of technology.
Amit's academic pursuits continued in 2003, when they joined MICA | The School of Ideas. Amit obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management, specializing in Media. This program must have equipped him with a strong foundation in media-related concepts and strategies.
Finally, in 2005, Amit attended the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies (JBIMS), where they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Marketing. This degree would have further honed their skills and knowledge in the marketing field.
Additionally, in 2016, Amit received the "India's Top 100 - Most Influential Marketing Leaders Listing" certification from the Internet and Mobile Association of India. This prestigious recognition affirms their expertise and influence in the marketing domain.
