Amy Sung

Amy Sung is an accomplished content director and freelance writer with extensive experience in food and travel media. As the Director of Content for Food & Travel at SmartBrief since April 2016, Amy manages editorial and content marketing teams and has also served as interim content marketing studio lead. Concurrently, Amy contributes articles to Lonely Planet and The Seattle Times, along with several other notable publications, including Bon Appetit, Serious Eats, and Forbes Travel Guide. Previously, Amy held the position of Senior Food & Beverage Editor at SmartBrief, overseeing the production of multiple food and beverage projects. Amy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English with a concentration in Creative Writing from the University of Washington, supplemented by culinary studies.
