The Future Policing Institute (FPI) is a think tank made up of some of the most forward-leaning policing experts in America. It strives to advance policing in the future that is effective, empathetic and just. Is provides commentary on those things affecting policing in the near future in the form of a blog, articles, resources, podcasts and webinars. Within the Institute is the Center on Policing and Artificial Intelligence (COP-AI). It is intended to help police practitioners, policymakers and interested community members better understand how artificial intelligence is affecting policing. A central goal is the center is to facilitate the safe and responsible use of AI by the police.
