Ya Gao

Ya Gao is an accomplished data science professional with extensive experience in analytics and data-driven decision-making. Currently serving as a Staff Data Scientist at Future Secure AI since May 2025, Ya has previously held senior roles at Woolworths and Ampol Australia. Beginning a career in analytics as a Consultant at Suncorp, Ya progressively advanced through various positions, including a role as a Researcher at the University of Technology Sydney and a Lecturer at Southwest Jiaotong University. Ya Gao holds a PhD in machine learning algorithms for hierarchical decision problems from the University of Technology Sydney, a Master's degree in data mining, and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, both from Southwest Jiaotong University.
