Marin Drlje

Marin Drlje has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. They began their career as a Junior Researcher at the Croatian National Bank in 2012. They then worked as a Credit Risk Analyst at Privredna banka Zagreb in 2013 before joining EY as an Advanced Analytics Consultant in 2016. In 2018, Marin became a Research Assistant at CERGE EI, where they stayed until 2020. During that time, they also worked as a Senior Data Scientist at Croatia osiguranje d.d. from 2020 to 2021. In 2021, Marin joined Axilis as a Data Scientist, and in 2022, they joined Happening in the same role. Marin has gained valuable experience in data science, research, risk analysis, and consultancy throughout their career.

Marin Drlje obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of Zagreb/Sveuciliste u Zagrebu in 2011. Following that, they pursued a Master's degree in Financial and Business Mathematics at the same institution from 2011 to 2014. In 2014, Marin Drlje enrolled at CERGE-EI and completed a Master's degree in Econometrics between 2014 and 2016. Marin further continued their education at CERGE-EI, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Econometrics from 2016 to 2021.
