Rick Starbuck

Rick Starbuck is a seasoned design executive with extensive experience in user-centered design and customer experience across various industries. Currently serving as Executive Design Partner at Futuredraft since June 2025, Rick collaborates with executive and product teams to define strategic vision and actionable roadmaps. Previously, Rick held significant leadership roles as Chief Design Officer at Optum Insight and Senior Vice President at Change Healthcare, where Rick established robust design practices and systems. With a strong background at Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase, Rick has managed multidisciplinary teams to enhance customer experiences across digital platforms. Rick's early career includes positions leading design services at iXL and Green Room Productions, showcasing a long-standing commitment to improving user experiences through innovative design. Rick is a graduate of UC Santa Barbara.
