Dipal Thesia has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. They started their career as a Research Assistant at UCL in 2015, where they focused on studying gene expression and developmental heart defects in mice. They then worked as a Laboratory Assistant at Dr. Aarti Malik's Computerised Pathology Laboratory, where they collected and tested blood samples and performed microscopic evaluations.
In 2017, Dipal joined the Queensland Alliance for Agriculture and Food Innovation (QAAFI) as a Research Assistant, where they directed the Avocado Project and studied plant tissue culture. They also worked as a Quality Assurance Intern at PERKii Probiotics, where they revamped technical manuals and optimized production processes.
In 2018, Dipal interned at UniQuest, where they advised clients on patentability and commercialization plans and pitched a commercialization idea. They then moved on to roles as a Commercialization Analyst at Leaf Resources Limited, a Technology Analyst at IP Active, and an Associate Project Manager at Luina Bio.
Most recently, Dipal worked as a Project Manager at BioCina, where they managed projects and worked on optimizing production. They are currently working at FutureFeed as a Project Manager.
Dipal Thesia completed their education in the field of Biotechnology. They obtained a Master's degree from The University of Queensland between 2016 and 2018. Prior to that, Dipal earned a Bachelor's degree from Northumbria University between 2011 and 2014. In addition to their formal education, Dipal also obtained a certification in Foundations of Project Management from Coursera in February 2022.
