James Stewart has over 20 years of work experience in various finance and leadership roles. James is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at FutureFeed, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Chief Financial Officer at RightCrowd from July 2019 to May 2023.
From January 2019 to July 2019, James worked as the Chief Operating Officer at Pragmatic Thinking Pty Ltd. Before that, they had a contract assignment as the General Manager - Strategic Sourcing & Property at Bank of Queensland from September 2018 to December 2018.
From 2013 to 2018, James held multiple roles at Wolters Kluwer - Financial Services Solutions, including Managing Director, APAC from June 2016 to July 2018, General Manager, Professional Services and Market Strategy (Asia) from September 2015 to June 2016, and General Manager, APAC Regulatory Reporting from June 2013 to September 2015.
Prior to that, James worked at RBS Markets & International Banking from 2008 to 2013, serving as Programme Director, Finance Change from March 2010 to June 2013 and CFO Malaysia from March 2008 to March 2010.
James started their career at ABN AMRO Bank N.V. in 2004, where they worked as a Basel 2 Project Manager - Asia until February 2008. Prior to that, they were a European Equities Trader at BT Financial Group in 2003.
James Stewart has a comprehensive education history in various fields. James completed their Bachelor's degree in Finance and Economics at UNSW from 1995 to 1997. Subsequently, they pursued further studies and obtained a CFA Charter from the CFA Institute between 2004 and 2006. In 2008, they enrolled in the CPA Australia Program, specializing in Accounting, and successfully obtained the title of Chartered Practicing Accountant in December 2009. Most recently, in 2022, James Stewart graduated from the Australian Institute of Company Directors with a degree in Business Administration and Management, General, earning him the designation of Graduate of Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). These diverse educational experiences have equipped James Stewart with a solid foundation in finance, economics, accounting, and business administration.

The company holds the global IP rights to technology developed by CSIRO, Meat and Livestock Australia and James Cook University.FutureFeed will commecialise an innovativelivestock feed ingredient that utilises a specific type of seaweed, Asparagopsis, which can increase production and reduce methane emissions simultaneously.Livestock feed with FutureFeed is the solution.
